Holmes Glen Institute of TAFE was incepted in 1982 and later has grown from a 90 programs, 7,000 students, to its current offering of over 600 programs and more than 55,000 students. Holmesglen delivers nationally and internationally across three campuses. Holmesglen operates on five campuses: Chadstone, Moorabbin, Glen Waverley, City and Eildon. Chadstone campus is the biggest and most widely recognized. Here the traditional trade’s areas are mostly housed in addition to many other course areas. The Chadstone Campus has three cafeterias in 3 Buildings and it also has McDonald's and Nandos nearby. The campus is within walking distance to Chadstone Shopping Centre. International students are welcomed here since 1987. Staffs at the International Centre provide information, advice and documentation to current and prospective international students as well as a range of on-campus support services
